WHY JESUS?

We believe in a TRIUNE God. This means God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three in one. One God, three persons.  This God is responsible for all of creation and the author of life. He made human beings in his image to rule and reign on earth. (Read Genesis chapters 1-2) JESUS IS OUR GOD.

God give explicit commands to humanity on how to live and conduct themselves on earth for his glory and our good. He warned human beings to not rebel against his righteous commands or else there will be serious consequences. (Read Genesis 2:17) Sadly, humanity was deceived and believed in a lie, and chose to rebel against God. (Read Genesis 3:1-7) God in his righteousness and justice had to execute judgement on humanity, and sadly sin and death entered this world because of our rebellion. (Read Genesis 3:13-19) Now all of humanity is under the judgement of God because all of have sinned. (Read Romans 3:23) The consequences of sin is death. It’s serious because its eternal separation from God in hell. (Read Romans 6:23 & Matt 25:46) JESUS IS OUR ONLY HOPE.

There is GOOD NEWS. God sends His Son Jesus as a gift to the world to have eternal life. (Read Romans 6:23) Jesus is THE ONE WAY to deal with the issue of our sin and bring us back into a right relationship with God. (Read John 14:6) There is NO OTHER WAY for human beings to be saved except through Jesus Christ. (Read Acts:12) He saves us through his death and resurrection. (Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) We respond through repentance and faith. (Read Mark 1:15) JESUS IS THE ONE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE.

Jesus unites all Christians together to make up one body called the Church. (Read Romans 12:4-5) Jesus brings the ultimate unity in our diversity through the gospel. (Read Ephesians 2:19-22) All nations, tribes, and tongues will be united together in Christ to worship the one true God for eternity. (Read Revelation 7:9-12) JESUS UNITES ALL PEOPLE THROUGH THE GOSPEL.
